The Belgrade Security Forum is one of the most important events in the Balkans, where key actors meet and debate foreign affairs and security policy in the Balkans, but also in Europe. This year, BaBe joined and participated in the panel entitled <em><strong>&quot;Why more women?&quot;<\/strong><\/em> which addressed the issue of women&#039;s perspectives in politics. All speakers agreed on the importance of greater participation of women in the decision-making process, especially since such a practice has proven to be extremely positive for the prosperity of countries that implement it.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"300\" height=\"169\" src=\"http:\/\/https:\/\/babe.hr\/\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/10\/forum2-300x169.jpg\" class=\"attachment-medium size-medium\" alt=\"\" loading=\"lazy\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">In addition to the panel, we also participated in the Initiative meeting <strong>&quot;Balkan Women for a New Politics&quot;<\/strong> as representatives of the civil sector from Croatia, where we had the opportunity to share our experiences and views on the current situation in Croatia regarding women&#039;s rights, as well as other strategic problems, and to actively engage in the agreement on the priorities and further strategy of the Initiative.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>U tijeku je osmi Beogradski sigurnosni forum koji se odr\u017eava od 17. do 19. listopada 2018. godine, a na kojem su sudjelovale i predstavnice na\u0161e organizacije.
