{"id":2196,"date":"2019-11-18T11:21:02","date_gmt":"2019-11-18T10:21:02","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/https:\/\/babe.hr\/\/1194-b-a-b-e-sudjelovale-na-wave-treningu-u-bratislavi\/"},"modified":"2021-08-02T22:08:45","modified_gmt":"2021-08-02T20:08:45","slug":"1194-b-a-b-e-sudjelovale-na-wave-treningu-u-bratislavi","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/babe.hr\/en\/1194-b-a-b-e-sudjelovale-na-wave-treningu-u-bratislavi\/","title":{"rendered":"BaBe participated in WAVE training in Bratislava"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><strong>BaBe Association<\/strong> she participated in <strong>WAVE Training Institute<\/strong> three-day training in Bratislava from November 13-15, 2019.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Our association is a member <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.wave-network.org\/\">WAVES<\/a><\/strong> network (Women Against Violence Europe) which was founded in 1994 as an informal network, and since 2014 has been operating as a legal and formal network of NGOs composed of European women&#039;s NGOs active in the field of combating violence against women and children. The WAVE Network aims to promote and strengthen the human rights of women and children, prevent violence against women and children, and establish gender equality by eliminating all forms of violence against women.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"225\" height=\"300\" src=\"http:\/\/https:\/\/babe.hr\/\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/img_20191114_143431-225x300.jpg\" class=\"attachment-medium size-medium\" alt=\"\" loading=\"lazy\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Training called <em>\"<strong>Effective campaigning strategies, advocacy and defending human rights defenders<\/strong>\"<\/em> (Effective Campaign Strategies, Advocacy and Defense of Human Rights Defenders) dealt with the topic of the importance of stories (<em>storytelling<\/em>) for the NGO sector, which can use them to promote their work, achieve their goals, and neutralize extremist discourse. In addition to reviewing a series of case studies, we learned how to successfully turn campaigns into movements. The trainer at this training was Jernej Verbi\u010d, a journalist and content marketing expert from Slovenia. The training was attended by 20 representatives of NGOs from countries across Europe.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" src=\"http:\/\/https:\/\/babe.hr\/\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/img_20191113_164013_851-300x225.jpg\" class=\"attachment-medium size-medium\" alt=\"\" loading=\"lazy\" \/><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Udruga B.a.B.e. sudjelovala je na WAVE Training Institute trodnevnom treningu u Bratislavi od 13.-15. studenog 2019.godine.
