In 2014, the European Commission asked the Agency to conduct research on national child protection systems in the then 28 EU Member States, and in 2015, a mapping of child protection systems was published, which included the Republic of Croatia. The Commission requested that the data be updated by the end of 2022, and the report was updated based on data collected in the first half of 2023.
