Be emancipated.\u00a0<\/strong>organizes<strong>\u00a0Closing conference<\/strong>\u00a0as part of the project &quot;<strong>puSHEd \u2013 protect, understand, support: help the elderly&quot;<\/strong>The project is funded by the Citizens, Equality, Rights and Values program of the European Union.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The aim of the project is to prevent and combat gender-based violence against older women by developing gender-specific responses in providing support to victims and building the capacity of relevant experts from the protection and support system. The project is also aimed at raising awareness of the general population and improving the community&#039;s response to gender-based violence against older women, primarily by increasing the number of reports of violence, but also by preventing it. The project in question is being implemented by the BaBe association in partnership with\u00a0<strong>The City of Zagreb and the Home for Children and Adult Victims of Domestic Violence &quot;Duga-Zagreb&quot;<\/strong>, and with the support of the Ombudsman, the Association for Support to Victims and Witnesses, and the European Social Network.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The final conference is organized with the aim of presenting the results of the project, but also raising awareness of the problem of violence against older women.
