This year, over 100 countries from all continents participated.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Croatia has been participating in the GMMP since the very beginning of the project. It is implemented by BaBe with the help of volunteers who analyze and collect quantitative data in newspapers: Jutarnji list, Ve\u010dernji list, Slobodna Dalmacija, Novi list; on radio: Croatian radio; on television: HTV, Nova TV, RTL. This year, the bulk of the work was done by Korana Radman with the support of Sanja Sarnavka. The volunteers are: Jelena Host, Korana Radman, Ivana Begi\u0107, Marija Trapi\u0107, Karla Lon\u010dar, Marija Ma\u017ei\u0107, Sanja Piskrec, Dina Vozab, Mirela Li\u0161inovi\u0107.<\/p>\n<p>Sanja Sarnavka is the regional coordinator for GMMP.<\/p>\n<p>We will soon know whether the percentage of women who are relevant sources of information for the media has improved in the world and in our country, or whether the portrayal of women as victims still prevails, while men are responsible for all &quot;serious&quot; topics and comments.<\/p>\n<p>The research results will be presented at key events dedicated to marking Beijing +15 and the Millennium Development Goals.<\/p>\n<p>All information about the research is available at <span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">http:\/\/www.whomakesthenews.org\/gmmp-2009-2010.html<\/span>.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>10. studenog 2009. odr\u017eano je 4. svjetsko monitoriranje novina, televizije i radija kako bi se utvrdilo u kojem su omjeru i na koji na\u010din zastupljene \u017eene i mu\u0161karci u medijskim sadr\u017eajima te koliko je \u017eena i mu\u0161karaca novinara, reporterki, najavljiva\u010da.
