{"id":933,"date":"2011-08-19T14:01:49","date_gmt":"2011-08-19T12:01:49","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/https:\/\/babe.hr\/\/835-rezolucija-1325\/"},"modified":"2021-08-02T22:04:40","modified_gmt":"2021-08-02T20:04:40","slug":"835-rezolucija-1325","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/babe.hr\/en\/835-rezolucija-1325\/","title":{"rendered":"Resolution 1325"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify\">On 21 July 2011, at its 141st session, the Government of the Republic of Croatia adopted the National Action Plan for the Implementation of UN Security Council Resolution 1325 (2000) on Women, Peace and Security and Related Resolutions for the Period 2011-2014. Not even a week after the adoption of the National Policy for Gender Equality for the Period 2011-2015 in the Croatian Parliament, the implementation of the measure of the same name in the area of International Policy and Cooperation, one of the seven critical areas addressed by the new National Policy, was achieved.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">With the new Gender Equality Strategy, the commitment has been extended to the implementation of resolutions 1820 (2008) on the elimination of gender-based violence in armed conflict, 1888 (2009) on combating sexual violence against women and children in armed conflict, and 1889 (2009) on the role of women and their needs in peacebuilding after armed conflict.
