The publication "Woman, Mother, Worker: Reconciling Family Responsibilities and Paid Work in Croatia" contains basic information about the project "Women in the Labor Market - Gender Impact Assessment", detailed information about the research conducted, and an overview of policy measures for reconciling family responsibilities and paid work with a focus on the situation in Croatia.
"Handbook for gender impact assessment" introduces readers to the concepts of gender impact assessment and gender-aware policies, and provides basic guidelines on how to carry out the assessment. "Monitoring public policies" provides a definition of public policies and lists the most important actors, but also explains the role of civil society organizations in monitoring their creation, adoption and implementation.
The aim of the project is to strengthen the advocacy role of civil society organizations (CSOs) focused on general transparency, openness and good governance of Croatian public administration in the field of gender equality, and in particular those policies that contribute to creating a positive environment for women in the labor market. The project was implemented by the BaBe association in partnership with the Faculty of Political Science, University of Zagreb, the City of Zagreb, and the Legalina and VIMIO associations. Project duration: 1.1.2015. - 1.1.2017.
The project was funded by the European Union and the Office for Cooperation with NGOs of the Government of the Republic of Croatia.
