Safe House of Vukovar-Srijem County otvorena je u srpnju 2008. godine u suradnji s Vukovarsko-srijemskom županijom kao rezultat naših napora da se žrtvama rodno uvjetovanog nasilja pruži egzistencijalna zaštita i psihosocijalna podrška.
Uz osiguravanje smještaja ženama žrtvama obiteljskog nasilja i njihovoj djeci unutar Sigurne kuće, naš stručni tim kojeg čine socijalna radnica, psihologinja i sociologinja pružaju psihosocijalnu podršku, dok our legal team provides the necessary legal information and advice.
The maximum duration of a beneficiary's stay in the Safe House is one year. Therefore, our professional associates make great efforts to provide victims of violence with adequate assistance in overcoming the trauma they have experienced, regaining self-confidence, and support in the process of becoming independent, finding employment and housing in this relatively short period.
The Safe House can accommodate a total of twelve women and eight children, and we accept people from all over Croatia. The house is well-equipped and highly secured, which greatly contributes to the feeling of security of our users.
