As part of the pilot project "I listen, I hear, I understand", on January 29, 2010 at 12:00 pm at the House of Human Rights, Selska cesta 112a, we will organize a round table - "Promoting the elimination of all forms of violence".
"I listen, I hear, I understand" is a pilot project implemented by BaBe, and the financial resources were provided by the Ministry of Family, Veterans' Affairs and Intergenerational Solidarity. We implemented the project at Lučko Elementary School through a series of educations, lectures and workshops for children, parents and employees of educational institutions, which aim to create conditions for better cooperation and mutual understanding of all three groups.
The aim of the project is to combat and prevent all forms of violence, improve the quality of family life, as well as realize the concept of successful and equal parenting, develop knowledge and skills on how to recognize violence, how to protect oneself from all forms of violence, especially domestic violence, develop a critical attitude towards violence, develop skills in non-violent conflict resolution, and recognize one's own potential in preventing domestic violence.
The roundtable participants are: Sanja Sarnavka, president of BaBe, Stjepan Adanić, state secretary of the Ministry of Health, Social Affairs and Youth Affairs, Dorica Nikolić, state secretary of the Ministry of Health, Social Affairs and Youth, Višnja Fortuna, head of the City Office for Social Protection and Persons with Disabilities, Jadranka Bračanin Szabo, lawyer of BaBe, Ljubica Matijević Vrsaljko, lawyer, and Ana Žnidarec, teacher of the Lučko Elementary School.
