Description project:
The project SURF and SOUND – Support, Unite, Respond, Fight to Stop Online violence - of the BaBe association is aimed at reducing the occurrence of online violence against women in society. By working to increase the knowledge and capacity of experts and important stakeholders in society, such as media workers, the project will strengthen the capacity of the system and create recommendations for improving public policies in the Republic of Croatia and a protocol for dealing with cases of online violence. Furthermore, the project will create an integrated model for prevention, reporting and support for victims of online violence via a web platform and will provide support services to victims in the form of free legal and psychological counseling. During the implementation of the project, a national campaign will be carried out to raise awareness of the under-recognized problem of online violence and to influence the suppression of its occurrence in society.
