Project description:
The BaBe Association started the implementation of the project "Inclusion+Enjoyment=Employment" on 11 March 2014, with the Human Rights House Zagreb, the European House Vukovar, the Croatian Employment Service, the Vukovar Regional Office and the Centre for Social Welfare Županja, as co-applicants. The project will last 24 months and is co-financed by the European Union from the European Social Fund and the Office for Cooperation with NGOs of the Government of the Republic of Croatia. The contracting authority is the National Foundation for Civil Society Development, Support to Programs of Civil Society Organizations Active in the Field of Volunteering for Strengthening Economic and Social Cohesion, while the location of the project implementation is the Vukovar-Srijem County.
The main goal of the project is to meet the needs of the local community by creating sustainable economic and social conditions through the establishment of the Volunteer Center in Vukovar and encouraging volunteering at the local, regional and national levels in order to facilitate employment, especially for socially vulnerable groups (national minorities, young people without work experience or long-term unemployed, people aged 55 and over, long-term unemployed people, disabled people...).
