In light of recent events in the Republic of Croatia, which relate to the commission and attempted commission of sexual violence against women and girls, the association BaBe Budi Aktivna. Budi Emancipiran. strongly condemns all forms of violence, including sexual violence.
Violence against women is one of the most shameful forms of human rights violations and we persist in our long-standing fight against it. Violence against women knows no geographical, cultural or status differences; it occurs in times of armed conflict as well as peace, in the home, in the workplace and on the streets, and as such stands in the way of our society's progress towards equality, development, peace and human rights for all.
