The initial meeting of the Ombudsman and members of the newly established Anti-Discrimination Contact Network was held on Friday. Ombudsman Lora Vidović signed a cooperation agreement with 11 members of the Network, among which the BaBe association was selected.
After introducing the institution and its powers, a discussion was initiated about potential joint activities in the future. The organizations presented their activities and plans for 2018 and agreed on the first activities.
The network of anti-discrimination contact points consists of the following organizations: BaBe, Center for Civic Initiatives Poreč, Center for Peace, Nonviolence and Human Rights Osijek, Center for Peace Studies, Contemporary Jewish Film Festival Zagreb, Association for Human Rights and Civic Participation PaRiter from Rijeka, Information and Legal Center from Slavonski Brod, Civil Rights Project Sisak, SOS Rijeka - Center for Nonviolence and Human Rights from Rijeka, Serbian National Council - National Coordination of the Council of the Serbian National Minority in the Republic of Croatia and the association Status M.
