Yesterday, September 16, a focus group was held with police officers as part of the How Expertise Leads to Prevention, Learning, Identification, Networking and Ending Gender Based Violence (HELPLINE) project funded by the European Union under the Rights, Equality and Citizenship program. The focus group was organized by the BaBe Budi aktivna. Budi emancipiran. association, with the help and support of partners from the Police Academy.
The aim of the focus group was to detect problems within the system of support for women victims of violence, from the perspective of police officers. The activity lasted 2 hours, and participants exchanged their personal experiences and pointed out existing problems as well as positive changes that have occurred in the last few years.
This is the second in a series of focus groups conducted with experts who are in contact with women victims of violence. It is planned to hold three more focus groups with experts from other sectors, within the support system for women victims of violence.
