UN-HABITAT and Huariou Commission announce the launch of a joint web portal on October 4th, World Habitat Day, and invite all interested parties to join them in creating a networked community Women and Human Settlements. The portal is designed as a place for information exchange and cooperation in the field of human housing, women's empowerment, gender equality, with the aim of designing and strengthening sustainable communities.
