Zagreb will host the now traditional social and political event Zagreb Pride for the tenth time in a row in June. The main part of this year's Pride will take place from June 5 to 19, while the Pride Parade and public gathering with a concert will take place on Saturday, June 18, starting at 2:00 p.m. at Trg žrtava fašizma.
This year, Pride is being held to celebrate and commemorate our first ten: the first ten years of LGBTIQ Pride Parades, ten years of our activism and victories, ten years of growth, but also resistance, empowerment, solidarity and building our Zagreb and Croatian LGBTIQ community and movement.
However, we didn't want to dwell too much on the past, but turned to what awaits us, our other ten - because the future is ours too!
Let's celebrate our 10th birthday on June 18th, let's fill the streets of Zagreb with diversity and inclusion, but with an eye on a future in which all lesbians, gays, bisexuals, transgender, intersex and queer people will be free, together with all people of all colors and expressions.
The full proclamation – the main message to the public – and the visual identity can be found in the attachment.
