Why are they silent? Why are they absent?

It was designed as part of the project  "Paving the way from poverty and violence to emotional and financial stability" which is implemented with the financial support of the European Union. The main goal of the project is to include long-term unemployed women victims of domestic violence who are beneficiaries of social assistance in the labor market.

Through the paths of discrimination

The leaflet – poster On the Paths of Discrimination was printed as part of the project "Raising local voices to the national level: roadmaps towards effective implementation of anti-discrimination legislation at the local and national levels". The project was realized thanks to the European Union and the National Foundation for Civil Society Development.

 

Legal and psychological counseling center

The leaflet for the legal and psychological counseling center was printed as part of the project I Listen, I Hear, I Understand in 2009 with the financial support of the Ministry of Family, Veterans' Affairs and Intergenerational Solidarity. 

 

What do we know about economic violence against women?

The fold-out leaflet I don't want to live in violence - contains all the important addresses and telephone numbers of institutions and associations dealing with the protection of victims of violence. The printing of the leaflet was made possible by the City Office for Health, Labor, Social Protection and Veterans and the Commission for Protection from Domestic Violence of the City of Zagreb.

 

He can't do without women anymore!

It can't be done without women! – a democratic minimum of 40% women actively involved in political decision-making. The leaflet was printed as part of a joint project implemented by the Vukovar-Srijem County Gender Equality Commission and BaBe, with the aim of achieving more equal participation of women in the 2009 local elections.

Tomorrow is a new day – Safe House of Vukovar-Srijem County – a flyer printed on the occasion of the opening of a shelter for women victims of violence, as part of the project "Weaving our own future – together we build the road to a life without violence". The material was created with the financial support of the European Union.

The leaflet Weaving our own future – together we build the road to a life without violence presents the main activities of the project implemented in Vukovar-Srijem County with the aim of developing a model for encouraging women's entrepreneurship. The project was implemented with the financial support of the European Commission, the Ministry of Family, Veterans' Affairs and Intergenerational Solidarity, Vukovar-Srijem County and the Office for Human Rights of the Republic of Croatia.

Values values - civil society and Croatian democratization, the leaflet presents some of the results of the research Contributions of civil society organizations to the strengthening of democracy, which was carried out by BaBe in 2006. The leaflet was printed with the financial support of USAID.

 

Paths and detours in legislative advocacy

Paths and detours in legislative advocacy - How to influence the adoption of quality laws and their consistent application? The publication was created as part of the project "Strengthening the role of civil society in promoting democratic practices and anti-discrimination standards thanks to the financial support of the National Foundation for the Development of Civil Society. The guide deals with the issue of legislative advocacy and the important role of civil society organizations in the processes of creating, adopting and implementing public policies in society.

Values of values

The publication is part of a project that BaBe implemented in 2006 with financial assistance from USAID and in cooperation with AED and the National Foundation for Civil Society Development. By researching "The Contribution of Civil Society Organizations to Strengthening Democratization" and publishing the publication "Values of Values", we wanted to demonstrate the exceptionally large role and significant contribution of civil society organizations in the processes of democratization, promotion of human rights, protection of marginalized groups, etc.

"Stereotyping: Representation of women in print media in South East Europe", a book published by Media Center Sarajevo, 2006. The book presents practices of representation of women in print media in Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Macedonia and Serbia. The project was supported by: The South East European Network for the, Professionalization of The Media (SEENPM), The Balkan Human Rights Network (BHRN), The Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs Neighbourhood Programme (NAB) and The Open Society Foundation Bosnia and Herzegovina (OSFBiH)
