The long-term goal of this program is to combat domestic violence, creating conditions for permanent abandonment of violent relationships and integration into the community. The implementation of the program will strengthen the capacities of victims for a life without violence and strengthen the role of the community in combating domestic violence. Successful integration of victims will contribute to the deinstitutionalization process, i.e., reducing the number of people in the institutional care system. By combating domestic violence and providing comprehensive support to victims so that they can achieve the conditions for a quality life in the community, the risk of poverty and social exclusion for this at-risk group will be reduced in the long term.
